WHAT IS THCa FLOWER & WHY IS IT SO HOT RIGHT NOW?

THCa is a non-intoxicating acid found in every cannabis plant flower.
As long as a hemp product in the state contains less than 0.3% of total delta – 9 THCa concentration by dry weight, it is federally legal. (2018 Farm Bill/legalization of Industrial Hemp)
The potency of THCa flower is practically equal to that of conventional marijuana flower once it has been heated. This is because heat changes THCa into THC.
Because the heat changes THCa into THC, THCa flower is inversly co-related with THCa content. The strength increases with the degree of THCa. It is advised to use the same cautions when consuming THCa as you would with THC flower.
THCa is non-psychoactive in its raw form, meaning it does not naturally produce side effects.
However, THCa can become psychoactive through decarboxylation, which occurs when the cannabis plant material is exposed to heat, such as through smoking, vaporizing, or cooking.
